No Kings in America: Manteca Stands Up

When: Friday, March 28 | 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Where: Corner of Spreckels & Yosemite Ave, Manteca

Wear: Comfortable shoes and bring water and your signs!

This is expected to be our largest mobilization yet. We aren’t just marching for the history books; we’re marching for our future. Join us.

Why We March

The principle at the heart of our republic is simple:

No one is above the law. Not a president. Not a party. Not a donor.

When checks and balances are undermined, when courts are ignored, and when power is concentrated in the hands of the few, silence is not an option. We show up to remind our leaders and our neighbors that democracy is not a spectator sport.

This isn’t a left vs. right issue. This is about the rule of law and the fundamental character of the country we leave for the next generation.

Get Involved

A movement is only as strong as its logistics. We need volunteers to help with:

  • Planning & Outreach: Helping spread the word.
  • Event Support: Setup, takedown, and manning water stations.
  • Legal & Safety: Ensure a peaceful and orderly event.

Remember:

  • Democracy only works when power has limits.
  • Your presence is the message. Every person on that corner is a living reminder that our community is paying attention.
  • History is made by those who show up. Let’s make history in Manteca.

Here are a few sign ideas:

  • Manteca Says No Kings
  • Law Over Leaders
  • We the People Means All of Us
  • Accountability is Patriotic
  • Trans Rights are Human Rights
